Our Story

Columbia Elite Tree Service was founded in 2009 with a simple goal: to give Midlands homeowners and businesses a tree care company they could actually trust. After years of seeing neighbors burned by uninsured crews, hidden fees, and sloppy work, our founder set out to build something different — a fully licensed, insured, and ISA-certified company that treats every property like its own.

More than fifteen years and over 2,500 completed projects later, that mission hasn't changed. We've removed hazardous trees from on top of homes after hurricanes, restored the health of beloved live oaks, cleared lots for new construction, and helped countless families keep their yards safe and beautiful. Through it all, our reputation has been built one careful job — and one satisfied neighbor — at a time.

What We Believe

We believe tree work should be done safely, honestly, and to a professional standard. That means our crews follow ANSI A300 and Z133 safety practices on every job, we carry full general liability and workers' compensation insurance, and we always provide a free written estimate before any work begins. We'll never recommend removing a tree that can be saved, and we'll never surprise you with hidden charges.

Just as importantly, we believe in leaving your property cleaner than we found it. Every job includes complete debris haul-away, and we walk the site with you when we're done to make sure you're completely satisfied.
